This book is a guideline. I learned that etiquette comes before seeking knowledge means that true knowledge is a light from Allah and best attained through obedience and good character. I have completed first chapter of this book, and I learned the importance of scholars, the value of knowledge, and the role of a learner. Overall, the book teaches that knowledge should be pursued with sincerity, respect, and good conduct.Thank you

From the 1st chapter of the book "Etiquettes of the learner" I learned about the importance of good manners, scholars and knowledge. Good manners are very important. If you are an educated person and you lack good manners, then you will not be considered as an educated person, regardless of how many degrees you have. Means knowledge is important but without good manners it is nothing. I love reading this book. Our discussion sessions also make it more interesting because we all share our thoughts and learn from each other.

From the first chapter of Etiquettes of the Learner by Ibn Jama'ah, I learned the importance of good manners and etiquette in seeking knowledge. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions encouraged learning good manners. The chapter also tells the high status of scholars near Allah. After Allah and His angels, He(Allah) places scholars. Also, the importance of seeking Deep knowledge about deen is important to Allah, not only physical worships. I am very much excited for the upcoming chapters and i would recommend it to those who loves book reading.

"This book is very good, and I have learned a lot from this book. In the discussion session, we learned about the rewards for a learner and how angels show respect to those who seek knowledge. The book explains, through the Quran and Hadith, that knowledge comes from Allah and should be pursued with a sincere niyyah (intention). It also teaches us good manners and reminds us to improve our character. when we have discussions and everyone shares their views, my doubts are cleared and I understand the topic more better. Reading two pages daily in this supportive group is a perfect pace. Thankyou

A book that I think every learner and educator should read before starting their journey. One of my favorite Hadees, " ... A scholar is more troublesome for Shaitan than a worshiper." After deeply reflecting on the lines of this hadees, I decoded a lot of things for myself. A scholar is troublesome for Shaitan because they are a knowledge seeker, a worshiper, and a spreader of knowledge all at once. On the other hand, a simple worshiper only benefits themselves. This is just from the first chapter! I am looking forward to the impact the whole book will have on my life, INSHA ALLAH!
